2003 JAWS Tow-In
World Cup is on in 24 Hours/Friday 10th Feb.

Kilborn has officially called the 24 hour green light for this
years Jaws Tow-In World Cup Event. The contest is scheduled to
be held on Friday January 10th 2003.
The North Pacific
that has generated a large swell. Officials and sponsors are
confident that Mother Nature will produce the right conditions
for this contest and deliver, "The Greatest Show on Earth".

Red-Yellow-Green Light System
Because of the
travel involved for some of this years contestants and contest
officials, there is a 48-hour (standby) notice for the contest
followed by a 24-hour (contest is on) notice. Rodney Kilborn has
been monitoring buoy reports along with other resourceful
meteorological data, and has made the call.
System is as follows:
Red Light -Waiting
Yellow Light -48 hour standby notice
Green Light -24 hour contest is on notice
